A Smile Is The Prettiest Thing You Can Wear…
“You see a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul” – George Bernard Shaw
I would like to thank you for contributing in making my London Fashion Week show special and unforgettable. Me and my team really appreciated the time and energy you spent to work with us. Your performance was charming, engaging and you added a great value to the show. Hoping to collaborate with you again in the future and we send you our best regards.
Beyond The Carpet…
Red carpet and VIP events are synonymous with people excelling in their field, glamour, grandeur and soirees (that for some result in champagne for breakfast the morning after!) Girish has performed at them, and often gets invited to them as a guest. Given Girish’s background in organising events and working with high profile public figures, he knows the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. His expertise means you’ll have an effortless conversation.
Every event is different, which Girish loves as he sees people as individuals. Perhaps you have an awards ceremony, are looking for an after dinner speaker with a difference or would like to celebrate the anniversary of your company in a fresh and dynamic way. And if you’re seeking entertainment on your private jet above the sea, yacht in the sea, or prefer firmer ground at a movie premiere, we’re talking your language too.
Charity Gala Dinner Show
At this evening of entertainment for Forgotten Women at Royal Nawaab London, Girish shared the stage with other creatives including BBC Citizen Khan Actor Abdullah Afzal, BAFTA Winning Comedian Mani Liaquat and Comedian and BBC Radio Presenter Jenan.
Cabaret Show in the West End
This event at The Phoenix Arts Club showcased Asians in the arts. It featured performers from various creative sectors including Pia Sutaria (Musical Theatre and Ballet) and Anisa Butt (Bollywood Actress, Spoken Word, Podcast Host and Published Poet), as well as others who have starred in hit West End Musicals such as Caleb Lagayan and Abel Law (Les Misérables), Jasmine Shen (Mamma Mia! The Musical) and Roshani Abbey (Hamilton and & Juliet).
Eye gazing with International Artist Metin Salih
This Art Exhibition featured an array of Metin Salih‘s work and included an auction of a painting of Stormzy, which Metin was commissioned to do for the multi award winning British Rapper, and which was his entry for the 2019 Royal Society of Portrait Painters competition. The event was sponsored by the speciality coffee company The Naive Company, and took place at St Dionis Church in Fulham.
Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL)
Girish finds repurposed fashion creative and good for the environment. Here he is at Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) next to an outfit made from face masks – the Divoc-Divoc dress by African Caribbean Emporium. The event took place at the home of Freemasonry in England, Wales and the Channel Islands – at the United Grand Lodge of England. Speaking of face masks, during the Coronavirus pandemic, Girish collaborated with Fashion Designer Saran Kohli on a conversation about the ones his company the Saran Kohli Label made with Illustrator Mira Ibad. A % of sales were donated to The Vitiligo Society.
